In the heart of Yorkshire, where hard work and honesty mean everything, MYWATER Solutions was born. We’re not just a business – we’re a family, built on generations of experience in the pump industry. Pumps have been part of our story for decades, and we’ve seen it all – the good, the bad, and the ‘why on earth did they install that?’. But we know the right booster set, circulator, or water treatment system isn’t just about moving water; it’s about reliability, efficiency, and making life easier for the people who depend on them.
That’s why we do things differently. We don’t just supply equipment – we educate. By making things simple and offering straightforward advice, we help our customers make informed decisions. Too often, plant room equipment is treated as ‘fit and forget,’ but we believe that understanding what you’re investing in leads to better choices and long-term reliability.

With 40 years of experience in the pump industry, Lee has worked with and for many of the world’s leading pump manufacturers. As the founder of MYWATER Solution – his 5th pump startup in the last 25 years – he’s passionate about delivering innovative solutions and supporting clients in the water sector.
- Hobbies: Competing as a GB Duathlete, excelling in run-bike-run events.
- Passion: A lifelong supporter of Leeds United.
- Hero: The legendary Billy Bremner, whose spirit and leadership inspire him.
- Favourite Food: Seafood spaghetti – always a top choice.

Zac is an experienced member of the team, serving as Sales Director. Despite being in his mid-thirties, he brings over 17 years of expertise in the pumping industry. At the start of 2025, he took the big step of co-founding MYWATER Solutions with Lee Barker – and hasn’t looked back since. As the main day-to-day contact for most clients, Zac is always ready to assist with any queries or new applications.
- Hobbies: Running, with a focus on marathons.
- Passion: Another lifelong supporter of Leeds United.
- Hero: Eliud Kipchoge, whose achievements and mindset are a constant inspiration.
- Favourite Food: Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana (Cinghiale) – an unbeatable choice.

Harry is the newest member of the MYWATER Solution team, bringing a wealth of experience in plant room pump products. He began his career with DAB, where he spent 7 years mastering booster sets, circulators, and other plant room equipment. As our Business Development Director, Harry is your go-to contact for any new projects you’d like to discuss – or if a site visit is needed, Harry’s your man.
- Hobbies: Former amateur rugby player for Oulton Raiders and an avid golfer – be sure to ask about his handicap or invite him for a round!
- Passion: Golf, both playing and finding the 19th hole!
- Hero: Rob Burrow, whose courage and determination was truly inspiring.
- Favourite Food: Curry, with a special love for lamb madras.

While they may not be the people you speak to daily, they are integral to the success of the business – working behind the scenes to keep us visible, engaged, and thriving every day.

Lydia is a graduate from Newcastle University and is currently studying for her master’s in York. Although new to the pump industry, she’s quickly made an impact by promoting our products on LinkedIn and helping us stand out from the crowd.
- Hobbies: Badminton, Painting, Reading, Shopping.
- Passion: Anything and everything related to fashion and art.
- Hero: Dame Vivienne Westwood – A true icon in both fashion and attitude!
- Favourite Food: Yorkshire Puddings – Proper Yorkshire through and through. If it doesn’t come with gravy, is it even worth eating?

Also new to the team, Bethany is part of our marketing department and the creative mind behind all our blogs, news, and case studies. The content you read and engage with comes straight from Beth’s brilliant ideas. She brings marketing and content writing experience from companies like Trailfinders and Trio Media.
- Hobbies: Running 5k and 10k races, with the goal of completing a marathon one day!
- Passion: Her darling daughter Rosie – you might have seen her picture as part of the sales team! She’s also passionate about music and attending gigs.
- Hero: Claire from Trio Media, a true inspiration.
- Favourite Food: Squashies – because she’s a big kid at heart!

Zanzi joined us in January 2024 straight out of dog school for budding office managers. She still has a lot to learn, but she’s great at building relationships and letting us know when there’s someone at the door. All bark and no bite, Zanzi will always help you find a seat in the office – though she hasn’t quite mastered making a cup of tea or coffee yet!
- Passions: Fluffy toys and anything she can de-stuff.
- Favourite Food: Loves human food, with treats always being a big hit.
- Favourite Place: Running around in fields or curled up in bed.

While Phoebe is a big part of our team, she won’t always be in the office to greet you with a wagging tail and a warm welcome. She works remotely (mostly from her favourite cozy spots at home) to maintain that perfect work/life balance. When she’s not keeping an eye on the team, she’s busy studying up on our products – or more likely, dreaming about treats and belly rubs!
- Passions: Bones and chasing balls in fields.
- Favourite Food: Peanut Butter.
